I have often encountered lots of bloggers copying the contents from other websites and using them as their content in their blogs. This act is so rude and against the rules of blogging. Nothing can be done against these bloggers. A lot of effort is made in researching and writing those unique contents but with an ease and in no time they can get copied and other parasite bloggers gets the benefits of it. It seems little absurd but that is going on in the blogging for many years now. I was searching for some ways to find out if my contents are copied as well. I went through a lot of websites but I would have to pay them in order to find out. Suddenly I discovered Plagium.com which is one of the easiest, fast, and free website that shows if the contents can be found in more than one website or if the content is unique or not.
The process of checking if the contents are unique is just too simple.
- Open http://www.google.com
- Select and copy the text (a single sentence or any suspicious part will do) and paste it to keyword searching space inside quote marks.
e.g. “DESIRED COPIED TEXT” - Click Google Search.
- In a moment,
a. If the content is unique, you will get a message as: No results found for “DESIRED COPIED TEXT”.
b. If the content is copied, you will get a list of websites that contains the same content.
